Meet Shannon! One of the Lead Planners for RK!

Hello, I'm Shannon and I look forward to working with you!

Originally from California, I came to Dallas after my parents had returned here when I left home to dance for Princess Cruises. I traveled the world and fell in love with all the culture and diversity in it. I love to encourage unique ideas, especially when they mean something special to the client!

I have been planning Weddings for almost 11 years and never tire of the excitement it brings. I have managed teams and worked with every type of person under the sun. My mantra is "I don't care whose job it is, let's get it done!" I see this as quintessential during important life events.

When I'm not planning someone's Amazing Day, I spend time at home with my family - my husband, 3 kids, and 2 fur babies. I also try to escape to the beach whenever it is physically possible. White sand is a must!

I am an open book and love building lasting relationships with my clients. I can't wait to chat and get to know more about the vision you see for your wedding!

Favorite wedding moment?

SO MANY!!! But, my very favorite part of every wedding is right before the Bride goes down the aisle. I am the ONLY one besides her dad, or whoever is walking her down, that gets to share that moment with her. The excitement, the emotion, the beauty- I LOVE it so much!!
