With 23 years experience in the events industry, Rachael always promised herself that she would follow the passion and not the paycheck. In fact, one of the first and most important bi-laws of RK Weddings & Events is that we must have fun doing what we love! Her background is versatile, with experiences producing weddings, social events, galas and corporate events. She has planned and executed events all over the world from Dubai to Hawaii, and for clients such as Office Depot, Apple, HP, Amazon, American Crew and Revlon. Her wedding clients have taken her everywhere from Mexico and Europe, to Philadelphia, Maryland, Minnesota and all over DFW. Have passport, will travel!
Rachael as owner oversees the day to day operations and sales for RKWE, and plans a select few weddings every year. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her hubby Brett, their two kiddos Sophie & Ryan, and her 10lb furry Pom sidekick, Tex.

What is your hometown?
Philadelphia, PA, but have lived in Los Angeles, New Jersey, Minneapolis and Texas. Texas has been my home since 2011, and I've happily adopted the phrase "y'all!" with pride.
What color makes you happy?
Emerald Green. It reminds me of my favorite movie, The Wizard of Oz and Royal jewels.
What are you currently drinking?
Deep Eddy's Ruby Red, with a splash of Sprite and a lime. It's my all time fav summer drink.

Your by far favorite wedding moment?
I love all parts of a wedding, but my favorite part is the moment when a groom sees his bride for the first time. I know its coming, I always try to prepare myself, but I never have a dry eye! It's magical...

I truly don't believe our wedding day would have happened without Rachael Kissel and her amazing team. My husband and I worked with Rachael for many months leading up to our wedding and always kept us on track! Through our engagement, we changed jobs and moved out of town and Rachael was always there to keep worries away and help us with all the moving pieces that we couldn't always be there in person for.
