Kari started her career in event planning and Community Affairs at EDS in 1993. She planned large scale mega-events like recognition and awards ceremonies, as well as small happenings like volunteer lunches with EDS executives. Kari also planned clients' dream weddings and getaways in her spare time.
After starting a family in 1999, Kari scaled back on work and changed course. However, she couldn't get rid of that event planning bug and continued to utilize her skills coordinating school and charity events. Now that all her kids are at Texas A&M (Whoop!), Kari focuses her efforts full-time on making your big day the day it was meant to be.

What color makes you happy?
Maroon, of course!
What is your greatest extravagance?
Shoes, without a doubt!
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
“We’ll figure it out!” The amount of times I say this on site at weddings is unreal. But, we always do figure it out!
What are you currently drinking:
Moscato, but if I need a pick-me-up during the day, I go for a Sonic cherry coke!
Your quote to live by?
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."
Your by far favorite wedding moment?
Truly, my favorite wedding moment is the time immediately after the send off - I get my bride and groom in the get-away car and give my bride a big hug and I hear in her voice and feel in her hug that the day was just how she dreamed it to be. Nothing is better.
What is your one must-have for a wedding?
A backup phone charger and a hair tie.
