Please meet Jessie, one of our fabulous Lead Wedding Planners here at RKWE. Jessie has had her own planning company for the last seven years and we scooped her up as a full time planner and couldn't be more excited to have her on our RKWE team!
Jessie has spent most of her life in Texas and met her hubby in college. They were married in 2015 and during the wedding planning process, she throughly understood the need for a Wedding Planner, as she wanted to make sure that she and her hubby could be the guests of honor and not working and worrying all day. After planning a spectacular wedding, Jessie's friends started asking her to plan their weddings (a testament to her skills!) and that's when she decided that Wedding Planning was her passion, and decided to turn it into her career.
We absolutely love having Jessie as a part of our team, as she brings over seven years of planning and coordinating weddings, and a wealth of knowledge to help our clients plan the wedding of their dreams. Jessie has planned all types of weddings from themed weddings to traditional, same-sex weddings (love is love!), and country club to barn weddings. Jessie has also planned multi-day affairs for her couples, and loves to help her couples by guiding them through every step of the wedding planning process.
When Jessie is not planning weddings, she is loving on her dogs, drinking wine and watching Netflix with her husband, and traveling!

We actually moved 5 times before I was 7, but I spent most of my childhood in Grapevine, TX.
Where did you go to school?
I got the "sampler platter" of college as I like to call it - I spent one year each at Tarleton State and North Texas, but graduated from University of Texas at Arlington.
What color makes you happy?
I like bright, spring colors - coral, teal, peach...the pretty colors!
What is your greatest extravagance?
Traveling! My husband and I LOVE to travel!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Jessie and her team! Jessie was easy to communicate with through the planning process and extremely helpful with all of our questions. She is patient, kind, organized, and gets things done! Prior to the wedding she took care of all of our vendors and last minute tasks. She was on top of every detail and made the day run smoothly, so we were able to have fun and not worry about a thing. We HIGHLY recommend Jessie!

I will never forget how helpful it was to have Jessie there during our wedding day. From the first phone call, I really liked Jessie. She is very professional and easy to talk to. She took care of everything the day of the wedding and made sure we were following the schedule. She got our guests gathered for toasts and the shoe game and everything. People say things will go wrong on your wedding day, and for me, I was feeling a bit dizzy by the end of night. Can I tell you how helpful it was to have a coordinator then? It was like having a fairy godmother. Everything ended up taken care of somehow. If anything else went wrong that day, I wouldn't know because she took care of it. We hired Jessie and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. She kept track of details that I hadn't even thought to consider and made sure that any gaps in our wedding prep were filled in. On the day of the wedding, our professional MC missed some things, and Jessie came to the rescue to fill in, going above and beyond to make sure our reception went seamlessly. If there were any other mishaps during the day- she made sure neither my husband or I had to worry about it. She is very professional and thoughtful. Jessie has so many amazing vendor recommendations for every need, from venue to bakery, hair, flowers, you name it. She gets pricing, sets up the appointments, gets all the details and leaves the fun stuff (such as cake tasting) for the bride and groom. She also makes sure to keep you on track during the planning process so that you don’t fall behind or forget important details.
Not only did Jessie make our wedding planning feel like a breeze, having her there on our wedding day was literally the icing on the cake. We worried about nothing on our wedding day because Jessie was 3 steps ahead making sure every detail was perfect.

My (now) husband sought Jessie's info to coordinate our wedding after working with her at a separate friend's wedding, and I am beyond thrilled that he did!! Jessie did a phenomenal job to say the least. From our first consult to the big day, she was a pleasure to work with.
